Does EthyloKey really work without blowing?
Yes. EthyloKey detects ethanol released through the skin using multiple sensors and a proprietary classification model.
What does the result mean?
EthyloKey classifies each test into one of three indicative ranges: green, orange or red.
It does not display an exact BAC value.
How accurate is it?
In controlled volunteer testing, EthyloKey classifications were benchmarked against police-grade breath testing, with approximately 5% false positives and 3% false negatives.
Results can vary with timing and testing conditions.
Why not use a traditional breathalyzer?
No mouthpieces. No consumables. No laboratory recalibration. Reusable, shareable and designed to stay on your keys.
Do I need the app?
No. EthyloKey displays the green, orange or red result directly on the device.
The app adds tracking, history and additional connected features.
Is a wireless charger included?
No. EthyloKey works with standard Qi-compatible wireless chargers.
When will my pre-order arrive?
Production Batch #01 is sold out and currently in production, with deliveries starting from October 2026.
Current pre-orders are for Production Batch #02, expected to ship between December 2026 and January 2027.
